By purchasing a workshop from us, you (the Participant) are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out below which apply to all companies and/or persons or other entities.
Terms & Conditions:
- The personal information collected is for the use of workshop registration and workshop-related activities.
- J’Academy is committed on maintaining the confidentiality of the personal information and undertakes not to reveal applicant’s information to any 3rd parties outside of J’Academy and its affiliates and related bodies (other than regulating authorities, funding-related agencies and / or authorised data intermediaries by J’ Academy) and programme partnerswithout prior consent of the applicant.
- Workshop Registration and workshop Fee
- Participant will be successfully enrolled for the workshop and subject to the stated terms and conditions once the registration form is submitted.
- Participant must make full payment of the workshop upon registration.
- If in doubt, please contact the administrators directly for clarification.
- There will be strictly no cancellation once the participant is successfully enrolled for the workshop.
- Acknowledgement from the payment platform will serve as confirmation of the reservation.
- Workshop address and directions will be sent 3 to 5 days prior to the workshop
- Participant is to have the minimum literacy or / and numeracy level to follow-through and complete the workshop if there are no specific pre-requisites.
- Participant agrees to the language medium of the workshop during registration.
- Participant that has any form of health issue, learning disability or any disability that will impact the normal facilitation of the workshop and engagement in the learning process MUST declare (in writing) and inform J’ Academy before submitting the Registration form.
- The registration form and payment must be submitted at least 7 days before workshop commencement.
- The workshop fees are NOT subject to GST (Goods and Services Tax). All payments are made payable to “Digital Assets Consultancy Pte Ltd”.
- Workshop Schedule, Class Size and Mode of Delivery
- The workshop schedule is subject to changes, J’ Academy reserves the rights to cancel or re-schedule the class without prior notice. The participant will be informed at the shortest notice.
- J’ Academy reserves the rights to define class size, and the rights to arrange and engage suitable trainers for the workshops offered.
- J’ Academy reserves the rights to convert face-to-face classes to virtual classes or vice-versa, based on the guidelines issued by the relevant authorities.
- J’ Academy reserves the rights to define the format of workshop material (hardcopy or electronic copy). Request for format change or request for a copy of alternate format is not allowed.
- The workshop schedule is subject to changes, J’ Academy reserves the rights to cancel or re-schedule the class without prior notice. The participant will be informed at the shortest notice.
- Absence / Withdrawal of workshop
- For Participant who is absent during the workshop, there will be no replacement classes or refunds (part or whole)..
- There will be strictly no cancellation once the participant is successfully enrolled for the workshop.
- J’ Academy Certificate of Completion (COC) and Electronic Certificate (e-Cert) Upon completion of workshops, Participant will receive J’ Academy e-Cert
- Indemnity and Limitation of Liability
- Whilst every reasonable precaution is taken by us to ensure security and safety at the workshop, we shall not in any way be liable for any loss or damage suffered by the Participant whatsoever in relation to the workshop,
- Participant further undertakes to fully indemnify and keep, and to release, waive and discharge, J’ Academy and its directors, officers, agents, representatives, employees, third-party partners and any other third-party vendors/trainers hired by it (“Releasees”), harmless, from and against any causes of action, claims, liabilities, costs and expenses which may be made or brought against the Releasees or Participant, or which either of them may suffer or incur, as a result of Participant’s unauthorized use of the Technical Skills; and further covenants not to bring a claim against the Releasees for all liability and causes of action arising out of any loss, or damages, as a result of such unauthorized use.
- Participant Obligations
- If a participant act in which in our opinion is likely to cause harm or nuisance to any person during the workshop session, we regret that he/she will be required to leave the workshop and we shall not be liable to refund any payment.
- Participant must comply with the health and safety policy of the venue, failure to do so will result in the person being asked to leave the workshop in which case no refund will be provided. Participant may not bring any equipment or items of hazardous nature to the workshop and shall not cause any damage to any part of the venue and are solely liable for any damage caused by the participant.
- Participant must keep their personal belongings with them at all times and we are not liable for any damage to, loss of or theft of any of the belongings or other items brought to the workshop.
- Promotional Materials and Materials at the Workshop
- Unless otherwise stated, the copyright for any such promotional materials and any materials used at the workshop including workshop notes, slides, brochures, articles and case studies belongs to J’ Academy and may not be reproduced in any medium without our prior written consent.
- Participant may use such materials for their own business purposes only and may not reproduce, publish or deal with such materials in any way for any commercial use.
- We reserve the right to change the published programme or materials as we think fit.
- Photography and Filming
We may wish to photograph or film the workshop and reserve the right to do so for the purposes of promoting future workshops or otherwise. The participant consent to us (or any other person attending the workshop photographing or filming you and any persons attending the workshop with you. You may not photograph or video the workshop without our prior consent.
